Raven was already standing at the edge of the forbidden forest. Her blue optics and aurix amulet were all that glowed in the gentle soft haze of the foggy moonlight glow. The trees swayed with a gentle breeze as she inhaled the ancient sent of the old oaks. Raven brushed her hair from her eyes. Her head turning toward the sound of footsteps approaching . Her lips twisted into a slight grin as she saw her fellow coven member approaching where she stood. "Hello there." She'd whispered softly, knowing she needed to be slellth like for the hunt that was about to take place.

Kintella was draped in clothing that framed her body tightly; a shade of black dark as the night. Smiling a toothy grin, back to the woman was the only source of light to shine on her body. Slowly and silently she approached the woman. " Greetings beauty." Her voice sliced through the air softer than the wind, as she came to a stop before her. Her violet hues finally fluttered open, as she rested them upon the woman. " Are you ready to hunt ?" A small sense of excitement played at the girls words, as she herself was ready to begin the nights journey.

Raven waved for Kin to come a bit closer, her gaze still scanning the forest as she inhaled deeply. "We need to be cautious...Ethratis is hunting in the woods as well." She glanced over at the woman and continued to whisper at a level only immortal ears could hear. Tonight, they were hunting for trespassers on their beloved coven forest grounds. Raven's right palm was gently and steadily resting on the grip of her katana. " Whoever is out there..if any one soul should be foolish enough to cross our boreders...Show them no mercy"....She then nodded to Kin, a slight regretful nod. Surely hoping no human, nor beast would meet their weapons this night. Raven then unsheathed her blade, twisted a grin at Kin and whispered once again to her. "Ready?"

Kintella slithered her tongue silently across her fangs, smiling wickedly as she stepped closer to Raven. " Challenge accepted, although I still need to meet this fellow." she skimmed her gaze across the tree line looking to see if anything could be spotted. "I'm just for toying with lives." Kintella would pass a small snicker from her lips, as she let her expression drop, and her game face was lifted into action. Reaching a hand behind her back, she pulled free her crossbow, and assumed the position.

Raven inhaled deeply, slowly once more, taking in the surrounding scents of the forest air. Fluidly her head tilted towards a distant sound. Her sight though keen, could not yet see the creature that echoed it's distance forward. "Now..." She'd whispered to Kin, their weapons at the ready as Raven lept forward, her speed rivaling the fastest of mortal animals as the branches of trees seemed to bow as she darted by. Suddenly, her footsteps slowed. Her back lent against a old oak tree as she slowly peered around the right side of it's base. Knelt beside the tree's trunk, she pressed her left palm against the tree. Her eyes would widen as she saw what was before her. A large black bear, nearly six times larger than any bear known to humans, sat crouched his claws tearing into the flesh of a large buck. His kill, still attempting to writhe and kick free. Raven looked to Kintella as she pulled back her cloak from her face. "False alarm I suppose.." she whispered. "Thought it was a trespasser." At her last words, Raven's head darted back at Kintella, now realizing that their position was discovered, the bear instinctively dropped the remains of his kill. Now curling his massive lips into a ferocious grown, his hips arched as he seemed to lunge forward toward the women. Raven stood, her blade rising in the same action as the bear lept with great power towards them. "Kill him, NOW!" She ran head on towards that of the approaching beast.

Before the vampiress can make her way to the target the bear was struck five times in its right side with what appeared to be arrows made of a silvery substance. All five of the shots were in major organs, intended and accurate kill shots. When either of the pair reached the now fallen beasts the arrows dissipated in to the air. The archer that fired them stood some ninety feet away, far enough away for neither of them to catch the scent. A crack of lightning and the beginnings of rain made it all the more difficult for them to detect who the mysterious figure was. However the sudden change in air held the waves of magic, as the storm was far from natural. He gave them just enough time to turn and look for him before he darted off in to the distance, letting them catch a flash of the cloak he wore. With the way he was moving through the forest it was almost as if he had known their forest like the back of his hand. He knew where every fallen tree was, every right place to duck or weave, and he was doing it with almost the same speed as Raven had been moving before.
